About Tactically Acquired: Our Story, Commitment, and Legacy
Our Origins
Tactically Acquired was born from a bond formed in 2016 at Louisiana State University between two former Marines united by their love for fast motorcycles and the shared challenge of transitioning to civilian life. The seed of Tactically Acquired was sown in 2022, inspired by a sobering statistic from the National World War II Museum: the number of living American World War II veterans had dwindled to around 167,000.
Preserving History
We realized the urgency to preserve the narratives of the Greatest Generation, whose firsthand accounts are an irreplaceable treasure. Tactically Acquired's mission is to create clothing that honors and keeps alive the memories of those who served. We delve into military history, covering the pivotal moments from World War I to the present-day War on Terror.
Our Commitment
Our passion goes beyond selling apparel. We've hand-drawn over 5,000 unit and ship patches, a testament to our dedication to history and remembrance. Each piece we create isn't just apparel; it's a tribute to the legacies of the units and ships and the brave souls associated with them.
