325th Bombardment Squadron

The 325th Bombardment Squadron flew B-17 Flying Fortresses as part of the 92nd Bombardment Group, 8th Air Force. Identified by the squadron code NV on its aircraft, the 325th was there from the beginning. It flew the group's first combat mission on 6 September 1942 against the Potez aircraft factory at Meaulte, France. And on 25 April 1945, it was still there when the 92nd led the entire 8th Air Force on its final combat mission of the war: a strike on the Skoda armament works at Pilsen.

This collection carries the 325th's legacy forward.
