Logistics Readiness Squadrons manage the supply chain, fuels, vehicle operations, and deployment functions that keep a wing operational. Supply specialists track millions of parts across the global Air Force supply system. Fuels technicians manage JP-8 bulk storage and delivery to aircraft. Vehicle operations maintain the base vehicle fleet. Deployment and distribution specialists process cargo and personnel for movement. If a part is missing, the aircraft does not fly. The Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker AFB manages depot-level maintenance and supply for the entire Air Force fleet.
