USS Albany (SSN-753) was a Los Angeles-class nuclear attack submarine, part of the largest class of nuclear submarines ever built. Sixty-two Los Angeles-class boats were constructed between 1972 and 1996, forming the core of the Navy's undersea combat power through the end of the Cold War and well into the 21st century. Designed for speed, the class could keep pace with carrier battle groups while maintaining the acoustic stealth needed to hunt enemy submarines.

Our USS Albany collection is designed for the sailors who served aboard her and the families who supported them through deployments they often couldn't discuss. Every item carries the authentic heritage of a nuclear submarine and the crew who took her to sea.
