USS Becuna (SS-319)

The combat record of USS Becuna (SS-319) represents everything the American submarine force was designed to accomplish. USS Becuna completed five war patrols in the Pacific and later served during the Cold War. She is preserved as a museum ship at the Independence Seaport Museum in Philadelphia. Today, USS Becuna is preserved as a museum ship where visitors can walk her decks and feel the confined spaces where her crew lived and fought.
