USS Delaware (SSN-791) earned a place in submarine history that endures. Delaware was a Block IV Virginia-class submarine and the first to be constructed using a digital shipbuilding process. She was also the first submarine delivered during the COVID-19 pandemic, commissioned via an administrative process rather than a traditional ceremony.
