USS Florikan (ASR-9) was a Chanticleer-class submarine rescue vessel commissioned in 1943. She served in the Pacific during WWII and continued as a submarine rescue and deep-sea diving support ship through the 1960s, maintaining the Navy's primary submarine rescue capability for two decades.
