USS Grapple (ARS-53) is a Safeguard-class rescue and salvage ship commissioned in 1986. Based in Little Creek, Virginia, Grapple recovered the cockpit voice recorder from TWA Flight 800 in 1996 and has conducted salvage operations across the Atlantic, Mediterranean, and Persian Gulf throughout her career.
