USS Grasp (ARS-24) was a Bolster-class rescue and salvage ship commissioned in 1954. She served through the Cold War performing deep-sea salvage, heavy towing, and firefighting operations worldwide, upgrading the WWII-era fleet with modern diving systems and heavier lift capability.
