Unit history
USS Indiana (SSN-789) is a Virginia-class nuclear attack submarine, part of the class that is replacing the Los Angeles-class as the fleet's primary attack submarine. Virginia-class boats are built jointly by General Dynamics Electric Boat and Huntington Ingalls Industries, employing advanced modular construction techniques that reduce cost while maintaining the most capable submarine design in the world.
Our Indiana gear is crafted for the submarine community — the sailors who qualified on her, the families who waited through months-long deployments, and anyone who understands what it means to serve beneath the surface.
