USS Jacksonville (SSN-699) was a Los Angeles-class nuclear attack submarine, part of the largest class of nuclear submarines ever built. Sixty-two Los Angeles-class boats were constructed between 1972 and 1996, forming the core of the Navy's undersea combat power through the end of the Cold War and well into the 21st century. Designed for speed, the class could keep pace with carrier battle groups while maintaining the acoustic stealth needed to hunt enemy submarines.

The Jacksonville collection exists because every boat in the fleet carried a crew that earned the right to be remembered. Our apparel and memorabilia are built for submarine veterans and the families who stood with them.
