Unit history
USS Kingfish (SS-234) served as part of the Gato-class fleet, a submarine design that gave the United States the reach and combat capability to project power across the Pacific. Every Gato-class boat shared the same basic characteristics: roughly 312 feet of hull, ten torpedo tubes, and a crew willing to spend weeks submerged in waters controlled by the enemy.
Our USS Kingfish collection is designed for the submariners who served aboard her and the families who waited for them. Each piece of merchandise carries the authentic heritage of a fleet boat that contributed to one of the most effective naval campaigns in history.
