Unit history
The record of USS Montana (SSN-794) reflects what nuclear submarines have meant to national security. Montana was a Block IV Virginia-class submarine. She carried the name of a state that has never had an active-duty surface warship named after it, making the submarine the only major combatant to bear the name.
The Montana collection exists because every boat in the fleet carried a crew that earned the right to be remembered. Our apparel and memorabilia are built for submarine veterans and the families who stood with them.
