USS Oregon (SSN-793)

USS Oregon (SSN-793) holds a distinguished place in American submarine history. Oregon was a Block IV Virginia-class submarine. The Virginia-class build program is planned to extend through Block V boats, which will incorporate the Virginia Payload Module — an additional hull section with four large-diameter payload tubes for additional Tomahawk missiles or future weapons systems.
