Unit history
Carrying a Sturgeon-class hull, USS Pogy (SSN-647) was part of the nuclear submarine force that conducted some of the most sensitive and classified operations of the Cold War. Much of what Sturgeon-class boats accomplished during their service remains classified, but their contributions to national intelligence and strategic deterrence were substantial.
Every item in the USS Pogy collection carries the weight of real submarine service. Designed by veterans for the submarine community, military families, and those who respect the Silent Service.
