USS Requin (SS-481)

USS Requin (SS-481) is one of those boats whose name every submariner knows. USS Requin served in the Cold War fleet and was one of the first submarines equipped with the Regulus guided missile system. She is preserved at the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Today, USS Requin is preserved as a museum ship where visitors can walk her decks and feel the confined spaces where her crew lived and fought. Our Requin collection complements that experience with apparel and merchandise that carries her legacy beyond the museum walls.
