Every submarine that leaves port accepts the possibility of not returning. For USS Scamp (SS-277), a Gato-class boat operating in the Western Pacific, that possibility became reality. Lost around November 16, 1944, likely depth charged near the Bonin Islands. All 83 crew perished during her eighth war patrol.
This collection carries the name of USS Scamp forward. Her crew made the ultimate sacrifice, and every piece of merchandise here is designed to keep that memory alive for submarine veterans, families, and historians.
