USS Sealion (SS-315) earned a reputation that still resonates in the submarine community decades after her service. The second USS Sealion sank the Japanese battleship Kongo on November 21, 1944, one of only two battleships sunk by submarine torpedo in the Pacific War. She also sank the destroyer Urakaze in the same attack.
Our Sealion merchandise is crafted for people who know what these hull numbers mean. For submarine veterans, their families, and serious military historians, this collection carries real significance.
