USS Spadefish (SSN-668)

Carrying a Sturgeon-class hull, USS Spadefish (SSN-668) was part of the nuclear submarine force that conducted some of the most sensitive and classified operations of the Cold War. Much of what Sturgeon-class boats accomplished during their service remains classified, but their contributions to national intelligence and strategic deterrence were substantial.
