USS Sturgeon (SSN-637)
"Semper Fortis"
USS Sturgeon (SSN-637) holds a distinguished place in American submarine history. Sturgeon was the lead ship of the largest class of nuclear attack submarines built until the Los Angeles-class. The Sturgeon design was optimized for anti-submarine warfare, with an advanced sonar suite and the ability to operate under Arctic ice. Thirty-seven boats were built, and they formed the backbone of the attack submarine force throughout the Cold War.
Our USS Sturgeon merchandise is part of a commitment to honoring every hull number in the nuclear submarine fleet. Designed for the submariners who served, the families who supported them, and collectors who value authentic military heritage.
