Unit history
USS Thresher (SS-200) was a Tambor-class submarine that proved what aggressive, well-led boats could accomplish in the Pacific campaign. USS Thresher completed 10 war patrols in the Pacific and was credited with sinking or damaging multiple enemy vessels. She served throughout the war and survived to be decommissioned in 1946.
We built the USS Thresher collection for submariners and their families. Every piece reflects the operational excellence and crew dedication that defined this boat's service.
