Unit history
Built to the Tench-class standard, USS Trumpetfish (SS-425) represented the pinnacle of American wartime submarine engineering. The Tench design refined the Balao-class with improved internal arrangement and better machinery, producing submarines that served effectively from the Pacific war through the early Cold War.
Our Trumpetfish merchandise honors the crew who served aboard this submarine. Designed for submarine veterans, military history collectors, and the families who share in the legacy of undersea service, each item reflects the authentic spirit of the Silent Service.
