USS Utah (BB-31) Naval History

USS Utah (BB-31) was a Florida-class battleship commissioned in August 1911. She spent her early years patrolling the Atlantic with a Mediterranean deployment in 1913 and served off the coast of Ireland during World War I. Between the wars, Utah operated with the Atlantic and Pacific Fleets before being converted to a target and training ship (AG-16) in 1931.
