USS Virginia (SSN-774)
"Semper Fortis"
The record of USS Virginia (SSN-774) reflects what nuclear submarines have meant to national security. Virginia was the lead ship of the class designed to be the future of the American attack submarine force. The Virginia-class was built from the keel up for post-Cold War operations: littoral warfare, intelligence gathering, special operations support, and land-attack with Tomahawk cruise missiles. The modular design allows capability upgrades through the Virginia Payload Module. Virginia-class boats are being built at a rate intended to replace the retiring Los Angeles-class fleet.
Our USS Virginia collection is designed for the sailors who served aboard her and the families who supported them through deployments they often couldn't discuss. Every item carries the authentic heritage of a nuclear submarine and the crew who took her to sea.
