USS Warbler (MSC-206) was a Redwing-class minesweeper The second Warbler (AMS-208) was laid down on 15 October 1953 at Bellingham, Wash., by the Belling-ham Shipyards Co.; launched on 18 June 1954; sponsored by Mrs. S. A. Blythe; redesignated MSC-208 on 7 February 1955; and commissioned at the Naval Station, Tacoma, Wash., on 26 July 1955, Lt. (jg.) James S. Elf elt in command.
