TACTICALLY ACQUIRED // ABOUT THE BRAND

Our Story, Commitment, And Legacy

Tactically Acquired was built to honor the people behind the uniform and keep their stories alive through apparel with real meaning. What started as a bond between two former Marines grew into a mission to preserve military history, celebrate unit identity, and make remembrance something people can wear with pride.

Born From Brotherhood And Transition

Tactically Acquired was born from a bond formed in 2016 at Louisiana State University between two former Marines united by their love for fast motorcycles and the shared challenge of transitioning to civilian life.

The seed of the brand was sown in 2022 after hearing a sobering statistic from the National World War II Museum: the number of living American World War II veterans had fallen to around 167,000. That moment made the mission feel urgent.

Some stories cannot be replaced once the people who lived them are gone.

Building A Wearable Archive

We realized how urgent it was to preserve the narratives of the Greatest Generation and every generation that followed. Those firsthand accounts are irreplaceable, and they deserve more than vague references or generic patriotic graphics.

Tactically Acquired creates clothing that honors and keeps alive the memories of those who served, covering pivotal moments from World War I through the present-day War on Terror.

Our Commitment

More Than Selling Apparel

Our passion goes beyond the product itself. We have hand-drawn more than 5,000 unit and ship patches as part of the work, and each one reflects a commitment to history, remembrance, and doing the details right.
What We Create

Every Piece Is A Tribute

What we make is not just apparel. Each design is meant to honor the legacy of the units, ships, and brave people connected to them so the history stays personal, visible, and alive.
Choose Tactically Acquired

Wear A Piece Of History

By choosing our products, you are embracing more than fashion. You are paying homage to sacrifices made over generations and helping ensure those stories continue to resonate and inspire.
Preservation Scope

A Legacy That Spans Every Major Era Of Service

The mission is not tied to a single conflict. We preserve the long arc of American service so the courage, sacrifice, and unit identity of each era remain visible to the next generation.
Era

World War I

The starting point of the modern archive and the opening chapter of the service stories we work to preserve.
Era

World War II

Campaigns, ships, squadrons, divisions, and the generation whose history still shapes military remembrance today.
Era

Korea & Vietnam

The difficult middle chapters of service memory, where unit identity and hard-earned history deserve more than shorthand.
Era

Cold War & Desert Storm

From readiness and deterrence to modern conflict collections, these years remain a core part of the archive.
Era

OEF / OIF / GWOT

Recent service is not treated as too new to preserve. It is part of the living record, and it matters just as much.
