作戦名「エピック・フューリー」は2026年2月28日午前1時15分（現地時間）に開始されました。ホワイトマン空軍基地からB-2スピリットステルス爆撃機が出撃。USSエイブラハム・リンカーンとUSSジェラルド・R・フォードからはF/A-18スーパーホーネットが発艦。アーレイ・バーク級駆逐艦からはトマホークミサイルが一斉発射されました。2003年以来、アメリカ空軍が中東に集中させた最大の戦力であり、その結果が示されました。

38日後の4月7日には停戦が成立し、ホワイトハウスのファクトシートは歴史書のように読まれました。イラン空軍：出撃ゼロ（作戦前は毎日30～100回飛行）。イラン海軍：16種類の艦艇150隻が破壊され、全ての潜水艦が沈没。機雷の97％が除去。13,000以上の標的が攻撃されました。最高指導者ハメネイ師は死亡。ホルムズ海峡は再開通しました。

It started over taxes and ended with a country. Between 1775 and 1783, farmers, blacksmiths, fishermen, and shopkeepers took on the most powerful army on earth and won. Lexington. Bunker Hill. Eight years of marching, freezing, starving, and bleeding for an idea that had never been tried at scale: that a country could belong to the people who lived in it.
