1944年1月、第4海兵師団は、中部太平洋に位置する日本が厳重に要塞化した環礁へのアメリカ初の主要な水陸両用攻撃であるフリントロック作戦の一環として、クェゼリン環礁のロイ＝ナムル島のビーチに上陸しました。わずか数日で海兵隊は目標を確保し、太平洋を越えて勝利へと導く戦術を完成させました。このTシャツは、東京への扉を開いたこれらの海兵隊員たちに力強い敬意を表しています。
